This is the e-mail sent from our Food bank buddy Anne:-

Good evening everyone. After a few days of no internet access, I am so pleased to be back on

line.

We were extremely busy on Wednesday of this week. We didn't have our usual quota of volunteers and we had a few more clients than we anticipated having, some of whom arrived early, so we were playing "catch-up". However, we survived another week, thanks to all your prayers and support.

Our relationship with The Ridge is continuing to move forward. We encourage each other and we are able to direct clients to the help and support they need.

As most of you will be aware, we weigh in our donations and weigh out the food we give away. However, it is disappointing to note that our donations are falling short of our outgoings. We really need to keep up our stocks as the number of clients can go up at very short notice. PLEASE REMEMBER A TIN IN THE BIN can make a huge difference.

WE DESPERATELY REQUIRE DONATIONS OF SUGAR, TINNED MACARONI, TINNED SPAGHETTI, TINNED FISH, BISCUITS AND TINNED MEATS.

WE DO NOT NEED DONATIONS OF PET FOOD,   NAPPIES, BABY FOOD, BEANS, SOUP, SHAMPOO, TOOTHBRUSHES NOR TOOTHPASTE.

Please continue to spread the word re A TIN IN THE BIN.

Thank you for your prayers and support.

Regards,

Anne
