Good evening, everyone,

What a miserable evening! Rain, rain, please go away........

Perhaps due to the weather, our cafe area was quieter yesterday. However, our warming soup,
lovely home baking with tea/coffee were enjoyed by all who were there.

It is wonderful to see Christmas biscuits and gifts being donated already. Please try not to donate
Selection Boxes. We also are repeating our Christmas Day Lunch this year and everyone who attends will receive a gift from Santa.

PLEASE DO NOT DONATE PASTA, TINS OF BEANS or NAPPIES AT THIS TIME.

We would love some donations of Tinned Fruit, Tinned Macaroni, Irish Stew and Chicken In White
Sauce.

Please also consider vouchers/gift cards from The Bakery, Crunchy Carrot, Butchers, Coop or Asda.

As always, your help is so much appreciated.

Regards,

Anne

Good morning everyone.

I don't know how to explain how excited and delighted we were to receive 435kg of food donations
yesterday. This was mainly due to donations from both Dunbar Primary School campuses, Lochend
and John Muir and Stenton Primary School. Thank you all so much! We had 12 crates and 30 bags of food
to weigh in and sort out. Grateful thanks to the volunteers who ploughed their way through that and made
sure it was all put away safely.

Our grateful thanks also go to our regular donors who keep us going all year long.

Our cafe was a bit quieter yesterday, but those who were there enjoyed the soup, baking and chat.

Please may I request some tinned vegetarian meals and sugar? In the run up to Christmas, we would also
appreciate donations of gift vouchers from the Butcher's, The Bakery, Crunchy Carrot, Coop or Asda.

Our continued appreciation for all you guys do for us.

Regards,

Anne
