Our food bank donations will be gathered on Sunday 11th November. The latest "Food bank Buddy e-mail" from Anne is as follows for information:-

We were overwhelmed by the weight of donations on Wednesday. West Barns Primary School and both Dunbar Campuses donated over 350kg of food from their Harvest Assemblies. We weighed everything in but didn't manage to get it all sorted, despite having a good few volunteers on it. An amazing response and a great boost to our stocks.

We are looking to improve our stocks of tinned meats and tins of salmon.

WE DO NOT NEED TOILETRIES, NAPPIES, BABY FOOD, SANITARY PRODUCTS, BEANS OR SOUP. PLEASE DO NOT DONATE THESE ITEMS AT PRESENT.

Our cafe continues to be popular and a great meeting place for friends old and new. Soup and baking with tea and a chat.

Many thanks for your continued support be it by donation and/or prayer. Be assured it all makes a difference.

God bless you all,   Anne
