Nominee Preaching on Sunday 3 September

The joint Belhaven and Spott Nominating Committee have reported that they are delighted to recommend Neil Watson as nominee to fill our vacant charge.  Neil will be preaching at Spott Parish Church on Sunday 3 September at 10.00 am.  There will be a vote immediately following that service and all those on the Electoral Register will be eligible to vote for or against Neil as minister. Neil will then go on to preach at Belhaven Parish Church, following which, an announcement on the outcome of the voting of both Spott and Belhaven Churches will follow immediately after the Belhaven service once the total votes have been counted and verified.  (Christine Gray retains the Electoral Register for Spott, and Jane McIntyre retains the Electoral Register for Belhaven, both of whom will be able to confirm who is on their respective Electoral Registers.)

This is an exciting time for the church, with the potential of a new ministry starting.  All who are able are encouraged to come to listen to Neil leading the service on 3 September.
